After an illness of only a few days duration, George G. Lamb died on last Saturday morning at 11 1/2 o'clock of congestion of the stomach. The deceased was the only child of George and Mary E. Lamb and was a bright and promising boy and at the time of his death was in his 17th year. The funeral services took place at Center Church on Monday afternoon, Rev. Lamont officiating. The arrangements of the burial were entirely in the hands of the Montgomery Guards, of which company the deceased was a member. - typed by kbz
