Laird - Harry

Harry M. Laird, 76, of 706 S. Washington St. Crawfordsville died in Ben Hur Nursing Home. He had been in ill health for the past eight months. He was a member of the Christian Church. Born June 21, 1899, he was a son of Edward and Eva Furr Laird. He attended Hillsboro schools and was married Oct. 2 1920 at Crawfordsville to Nellie Rynearson. She survives. Also surviving are daughter, Mrs. Donald (Mary) Jones of Rt 3 Danville, Ind., a granddaughter, Kyla Jones of Danville; two sisters. Mrs. Lewis (Oveta) Klade and Mrs. Granville (Dollie) Grubb, both of Covington; a brother, Herschel of Indianapolis. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery at Hillsboro. -- jlr
