Parkersburg Items -- James Lafollette, an old pioneer resident of this vicinity, died Sept. 15. He has been an invalid for some time and was known and respected by all. He leaves a widow and seven children and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his departure The funeral was preached at Raccoon by Rev. Vancleave and the remains were interred at the Lafollette cemetery, near his home.- transcribed by Kim H
