Stone Bluff - Ralph E. LaBaw, 70, a retired carpenter died Sunday in American Convalescent Nursing Home at Danville, Ill. Born July 14, 1902 at Bartlett, Kansas he was a son of Elmer and Della Cronk LaBaw. He married Gertrude Sutton May 28, 1922 at Veedersburg. She survives. Other survivors include three sons, Louise W. of Homestead, Fla; Raymond of Miami, Fla and Gordon E. of Crawfordsville; two daughters, Mrs. Martha B. Florey of Stone Bluff and Mrs. Carole A. Manasco of Urbana, Ill; a brother, Gerald of Stone Bluff; 16 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, two brothers and grandson. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Crumley-Williams Funeral Home at HIllsboro with Rev. Robert Karn officiating. Burial will be in Osborne Prairie Cemetery near Stone Bluff.
