Mellott -- Funeral services were held at 1:30 o´clock Thursday afternoon for Murray LAWSON age 16 at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Lawson. The funeral service was in charge of Rev. Mrs. Oilah Thorp, of Indianapolis. Music was furnished by Mrs. Lucy Coons and Mrs. Ethel Moore, Crawfordsville; Estin Cooper of Brazil and a number by the Mellott HS glee club. Pall bearers were; Russell Huff; Marion Cooper; Estin Cooper; Harold Cooper; Garry Hyatt and Richard Hall. Flower bearers were his classmates, Alvin Conner; Floyd Mortimore; Mabel Miles; Gertrude Parkinson; Onda Duncan; Virginia Tanner; Fern Smith and Catherine Simmons. Burial in Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown. - typed by kbz
