LADOGA -- Edward Frank Lawson, a retired employee of the U. S. Steel Corp. and Ladoga resident, died of a heart attack Wednesday morning at Culver Hospital after an illness of two months. He was 67. He was a member of the Lutheran Church at Chesterson and a veteran of World War I. He retired from the steel corporation job at Gary in 1959. He was married Feb. 28, 1921, to Hazel Farley at Benton Harbor, Mich. His parents were Gustav and Ida Lundeen Lawson. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Leroy Graham of Wabash; two grandsons, Edward and Keith Graham of Wabash; and several nieces and nephews of the Gary and Chesterson area. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Gephart Funeral Home in Ladoga. Burial will be in Ladoga Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. - typed by kbz
