Clarks Hill - Ray T. Kuhns, 72, of Clarks Hill, died Saturday morning at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette. He had been ill three months and in the hospital three weeks. He lived in Lafayette and Romney before moving to Clarks Hill. He was born Feb 2, 1893, in Lincoln, Neb., to Isaac and Jennie Arnold Kuhns. He was educated in Lincoln schools. He was a farm hand and laborer for the Grandview Dairy. He was a member of the Romney Methodist Church. Mr. Kuhns was married to Allie B. Crider Jan. 3, 1912. She died in May, 1950. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Morris Geiger of New Richmond; a son, John, of Norco, Calif.; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Holms Funeral Chapel in Linden. Rev. Claude J. Eaton will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery at Romney. Friends may call at the funeral home.
