Mrs. Esther June Krug, 66, of Country Club Road, died suddenly at 1 :45 p.m. Monday at her home. She was a native of Browns Valley, born Oct 23, 1903 to Charles V. and Mary. E. Gilliland. She married Clyde B. Krug on June 14, 1922. Mrs. Krug attended Crawfordsville High School. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, its WSCS, the Pythian Sisters and Union Chapel Home Demonstration Club. Surviving are her husband; two sons, William J. and David L. of this city; two brothers, Charles Gilliland of Willow Branch, Ind., and Lawrence Gilliland; a sister, Adah Thompson of Monticello; three grandchildren, Stephen, Janet and Nancy of Crawfordsville and a step-granddaughter, Kandace Key. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hunt and Son Funeral Home. Rev. Keith Carlile will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
