Crawfordsville, Ind -- Mrs. Lottie E. Krout, 71, of Crawfordsville, died at 6:20 p.m. Wednesday Oct 8, 1969 at Culver Union Hospital in Crawfordsville. Mrs. Krout was born June 26, 1898 at Cayuga, a daughter of James and Daily Gephart Krout. She married Jessie Leroy Krout in 1916 at Wallace and he survives. She was a member of the Alamo Christian Church and was a graduate of Alamo HS. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Beatrice Hudson and Mrs. Mary Frees, both of Crawfordsville; a sister Mrs. Leona Allen of Crawfordsville; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Virgil, and a sister, Mrs. Merle Smith. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Servies-Thomas Funeral Home, Waynetown with Rev. Hugh Dooley of the Alamo Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in Alamo Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
