Crawfordsville - Jesse L. Krout, 75 of Crawfordsville, died at 9 a.m. Wednesday in Culver Hospital where he was admitted Nov 27. He had been in failing health for some time. Mr. Krout, a native of Wallace resided most of his life in the Alamo community moving to Crawfordsville in 1942. He was employed by the City Sanitation Dept, retiring in 1957. Prior to tha the worked at Crawfordsville Casket Co. In 1916 in Wallace, he was married to Lottie E. Krout who died in 1969.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Beatrice Hudson and Mrs. Mary Frees, both of Crawfordsville and one brother, Virgil of near Alamo. Services will be Saturday morning in Waynetown - kbz
