Waynetown, Ind -- Services will be at 2 p.m. EST Friday at the Crumley Williams Funeral Home for Edith Z. Krout, 88, of Fort Wayne. She died early today Dec 29 1976 at the Turtle Creek Nursing Home in Fort Wayne. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery at Wallace, Ind. Friends will be received after 2 p.m. EST Thursday at the funeral home. Born Jan 8 1888 in Fountain County, she was married to Hiram Krout, who died in 1949. She was a member of the Trinity English Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid Society, both of Fort Wayne. Survivors include a daughter Mrs. Robert (Kathleen) Cummins of Ft. Wayne; three brothers Rev. W. E. Allen of Leisure World, Calif., F. F. Allen of Indianapolis and Ivan Allen of Hillsboro; a grandson and a great grandson.

Hillsboro - Mrs. Edith Z. Krout, 88, of Ft. Wayne, a native of Fountain County and brother (sic) of Ivan Allen of Hillsboro died today in a Ft. Wayne nursing home. She was a member of Trinity English Lutheran Church and its Ladies Society at Ft. Wayne. She was born Jan 8, 1888. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Kathleen) Cummins of Ft. Wayne; two other brothers, F.F. Allen of Indianapolis and Rev. W. E. Allen of Leisure World, California; a grandson and a great grandson.
