Mrs. Louise (NEELY) Kleiser was born Dec 25, 1840 near Parkersburg, Indiana died Oct 1, 1934. When she was 8 her parents moved to Iowa. Often she has told of seeing the covered wagons of the gold seekers of '49 pass near her home. When about 16 she returned to Indiana to live. In 1869 she was married to Joseph Kleiser. They lived on the farm east of town until 1904 when they moved to town where she had lived, the remainder of her life. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and enjoyed working in church organizations. She took much interest and spent much time in organizing the Presbyterian Cemetery Association. Her happiness seemed to be in doing for others. - transcribed by kbz
