Kritz - James William

James William Kritz, 70, father of Mrs. William Zach of 1308 Durham Dr died at 2:15 p.m. Monday at the home of his daughter. He had been in failing health six months. Mr. Kritz and his wife, Alice had often visited the Zach's from their home in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., where they had lived the past 10 years since his retirement. He had owned and operated the MC Pattern Works in Michigan City for 33 years before retiring in 1955. He was a member of St. Jerome's Catholic Church in Ft. Lauderdale and a member of the Elks Lodge there. He was born Feb 23, 1895, in St. Cloud Minnesota to Herbert and Katherine Brennan Kritz. He was married to Alice Thompson Sept 22, 1917 at Three Rivers, Mich. Survivors include his wife, his daughter, three grandchildren, James, Rebecca and Barbara all of Crawfordsville; two brothers, John and Robert both of Paris; three sisters, Mrs. Parke Jones, Mrs. Leo Rooney and Mrs. Homer Perkins all of Paris Ill. Friends may call at the Hunt & Sun fun home Tuesday afternoon and evening. A rosary service will be conducted there at 8 p.m. Tues. The body will then be taken to the Zieran Fun Home at Paris Ill with services there at St. Mary's Catholic Church Thursday morning. Burial will be in Paris.
