James Harry KLEISER, 82 years old, for more than 40 years a practicing attorney in Terre Haute, died at 9 o'clock on Tuesday monring at his home, 1018 Sixth Street. Mr. Kleiser who was graduated from the Waveland Collegiate Institute in 1872, had been a resident of Terre Haute since 1876 when he came to this city to gain admittance to the bar and begin the practice of law. For many years he was a member of the local bar association. Until 1898 he shared a partnerhsip with a brother, George W. Kleiser and for several years following the brothers' death, Mr. Kleiser continued the practice of his profession. He retired from active life in 1920. He is survived by his widow, Susan Adams Kleiser; a daughter, Miss Louise Kleiser and two brothers, CA Kleiser and Dr. AJ Kleiser of Waveland. He was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church.
