Alice Kritz, 82, of Rt. 7, died at 8:50 a.m. Fri. in Culver Hospital. She was a member of St. Bernards Church, the Lady Elks at Ft. Lauderdale, Fla and was graduated from Elkhart Business School. Born at Wawaka, Indiana on January 27, 1900, she was a daughter of Charles and Ollie Sparrow Thompson. She was married at Three Rivers Michigan on Sept 22, 1917 to James W. Kritz. He preceded her in death Dec 6, 1965. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. William (Joan) Zach, Rt 7, three grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Hunt and Son Funeral Home, with Father Rod Berns officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery at Paris, Ill. Friends may call at the funeral home 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Sunday with Rosary at 7 p.m.
kz -- love ya' Gma' Kritz :) - this is my husband's grandmother and she was the first to make me more than welcome in the fold of their family. Loved her so very much
