Krakowski - Harriet Searfross

Mrs. Harriet Krakowski, 66, of 520 Pine Ave., Goleta, Calif., mother of Mrs. Gregory (Lee) Scripp of Crawfordsville, died in Pinecrest Hospital following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Krakowski had lived all of her life in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., before moving to Goleta in 1968. She was a member of Goleta Baptist Church. She was born in Wilkes-Barre July 22, 1910, to William and Harriet Searfoss. Surviving besides Mrs. Scripp are her husband, John Krakowski of Goltea; two other children, John E. Lamoreaux of Sacramento, Calif., and Kenneth C. Lamoreaux of Goleta; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Galloway of San Francisco and Mrs. Anna Williams of New Jersey; and five grandchildren. Services were in Goleta. Burial was in Goleta Cemetery. Memorials should be made in the form of an offering to Goleta Baptist Church, Memorial Fund, 595 N. Fairview Ave., Goleta, Calif. – jlr
