Crawfordsville, Dec 14 – Services will be held here Friday afternoon for Herman P. Kostanzer, 82 for nearly half a century engaged in the retail furniture business who died Wed at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Don Crisler, at Marion. He had been ill nine months. From 1894 until 1939, when he retired, Mr. Kostanzer was in business here with his brother, the late John Kostanzer. Their father, Anthony Kostanzer, native of Germany established the business here in 1848. Mr. Kostanzer was a member of the Crawfordsville Lodge of Elks. The daughter and three grandchildren survive. - kbz
