Koss - Sidonie Block

Sidonie B. (nee Block) passed away on January 14, 2006 three months after being diagnosed with kidney and lung cancer and a seven week stay at Surrey Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Unit and the Langley Hospice. Born in Edmonton, Alberta on October 9, 1915 she was predeceased by her sister Olga Behnke (1995) and brother Ernie Block (2002) of Edmonton and her husband of 60 years, the Rev. Leonard Koss, on January 14, 2000. She is survived by her 4 children, Lorin (Sharon) Koss, Surrey, B.C.; Linda (Don) Bowen, Tulsa, Oklahoma; Brenda Grable, Indianapolis, Indiana; Drew (Debi) Koss, Crawfordsville, Indiana; 4 Grandchildren, Kelly (David) Kinkaid, Tulsa, Oklahoma; Tamara (Chris) Delage, Surrey, B.C.; Darin (Eve Larose) Koss, Ottawa, Ontario; David (Kate) Bowen, San Antonio, Texas; and 5 Great-Grandchildren, Aaron, Amy and Amber Delage; Ben and Chloe Kinkaid. Memorial Service, 2:30 p.m., Saturday, January 21, 2006 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1499 Laurier Avenue at Granville Street, Vancouver, the Rev. John Gram officiating. Donations in memory of "Donie" may be made to the Memorial Fund of Redeemer Lutheran Church, the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
