Buckles & LaFollette had two funerals this week of parties that died at Shannondale. Elizabeth Shelly died at her home there Monday and the remains were taken to Hendricks County for burial. The entire drive of about 75 miles required to days driving from Tuesday noon until Thursday noon, in the heavy snow with four horses to the hearse. Miss Nancy Knox died at her home at the above named place of lung trouble, the 15th inst. The funeral occurred yesterday. --–kbz
