Frank G. Knee, 82, of Rt. 6, died at 7:20 pm Thursday in Culver Hospital after a year's illness. Mr. Knee was engaged in the trucking business. He was a member of the Oak Hill Tabernacle Church. A native of Lafayette, Mr. Knee was born July 31, 1884, a son of Samuel and Mary Stevenson Knee. He was married to Cordella Kerns in 1903. Surviving are two sons, James of Crawfordsville and Samuel Frank of Marion; five daughters, Mrs. Madie Willhite, Mrs. Helen Pipher and Mrs. Laura Newlin, all of Crawfordsville, Mrs. Myrtle Stephens of Mellott and Mrs. Mary Stout of Veedersburg; 8 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife and two sons, Newton and Richard. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Saturday at Hunt and Son Funeral Home, with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery at Wingate. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 pm today. - kbz
