Mrs. Victoria Kritz KLEISER, 84, passed away at 3:30 p.m. Thursday Sept 29, 1955 at her home in Waveland. In failing health three year she had been seriously ill since Saturday. Born in Waveland Jan 17, 1871, she was the daughter of Mary Brush and Henry S. Kritz. Her entire life was spent in Waveland with the exception of four years when she attended and graduated from Shortridge HS in Indianapolis. She was married to Dr. Reese D. Kelso, a practicing physician in Waveland until his early death. Later she was married to Charles Albert Kleiser, who also preceded her in death. She is survived by one daughter, Helen Kelso; one sister, Mrs. George Cowan, 4 nieces and one nephew. She was a member of the Waveland Presbyterian Church and as long as her health permitted she attended services. She was especially active in the missionary society. She was a charter member of the Waveland Department club and a past president of that organization. Funeral services were held at the Machledt Funeral Home Saturday Oct 1 at 2:30 with the Rev. Richard Hudelson, officiating. Mrs. Forest Coleman, organist, accompanied Kenneth Coleman who sang favorite hymns of Mrs. Kleiser. The pall bearers were Charles Barr; OL Cook; Fred Bazzani; Lawrence Servies; Clarence Milligan and Fred McNutt. Burial was in the Presbyterian Cemetery. - transcribed by karen bazzani zach
