WILLIAMSPORT - James Franklin Kiser, 86, of Williamsport, died at 8:45 a.m. today in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville, Ill. He had been in ill health for a month. Mr. Kiser had been a farm laborer. Born Sept. 16, 1888, in Warren County, he was a son of Marion and Mary Susan VanPelt Kiser. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Marguerite) Derringer of Speedway and Mrs. Oakley (Geneva) Covault of Rt. 1, Kingman; a son Alonzo of Glendale, Ariz.; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements are incomplete at Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home at Covington. - jlr
