Mrs. Anna Hope Kirkpatrick, widow of William Kirkpatrick, died Monday night at 11:20 o’clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Oscar Stingley in Elston. She had been in failing health for the past five years but had only been bedfast for the past three weeks. The deceased was born in Bolton Village, Canada near Toronto 68 years ago. She came to the US in 1861 and had resided near Lafayette since that time. Mrs. Kirkpatrick was the mother of eight children, six of whom with the husband preceded her in death. Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Stingley and a son, Noah Kirkpatrick of New Richmond.
