Kirkpatrick - Minnie Dewey

Source: Unknown newspaper

Again we are called upon by the inclemency of inexorable death to part with another of our dear sisters from our society. Minnie Kirkpatrick has gone from among us, after a long time of suffering. Most of us have known Mrs. Kirkpatrick from childhood and knew her to be a woman whose desire was uppermost to do good for her family and those around her. A christian from choice from her earliest childhood, Mrs. Kirkpatrick's life was spent in the neighborhood where she was born, reared and died. She will be missed in her church, in the Ladies Aid Society and sadly missed at home by her husband and two daughters to whom she was greatly devoted. RESOLVED, that this Society extend their deepest sympathy to her family and to her father who has now lost the last one of his first family. We can do no more, Minnie, goodbye. - kbz
