Waynetown - Mrs. Bertha L. Kinney, 65, Waynetown, died early Tuesday morning in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. She had been in failing health for several months. Mrs. Kinney was born Jan 17 1905 in Vermilion Co IL to Henry and Della Huffman Weber. She married Fred Kinney who preceded her in death in 1949. Shew as educated in Illinois schools. She attended Waynetown Baptist Church and Friendly Circle Class of the church. She was a member of Waynetown American Legion Aux 445. Mrs. Kinney lived in and near Waynetown for the past 38 years. She was employed at Wayne Cafe for 17 years. Surviving are her mother who resides near Kingman; a son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Kinney of near Waynetown; a foster daughter, Mrs. Barbara Taylor of Crawfordsville; 3 brothers, John, Henry and Cloyd Weber, all of Veedersburg; 3 sisters, Mrs. Mae York of near Kingman, Mrs. Oral Graham and Mrs. Wilmer Edwards, both of Veedersburg; two grandchildren;1 0 foster grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Servies-Thomas Funeral Home by Rev. Kenneth Brock, assisted by Rev. Guy E. Tremaine. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call after 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
