Services were held Tuesday at the Parham Funeral Home for Perry Kinneer, 80, of Veedersburg Route 2, who died Thursday (Jan. 8, 1976) at the Lovelace Batan Medical Center in Albuquerque, N. Mex. The Rev. Charles Woods officiated and burial was in Rockfield Cemetery. He was born on Sept. 22, 1895 in Veedersburg, the son of Walcie and Martha Smith Kinneer. On June 21, 1923 he married Jacie Stonecipher in Veedersburg. She survives. Mr. Kinneer was a retired Veedersburg postal employee. He served in the Navy during World War I. He was a member of the Veedersburg First Christian Church, the Charles Forrest American Legion Post 288 and a charter member of the Veedersburg Lions Club. He also was a member of the Masonic Lodge F and AM 491. Other survivors include two sons, Gerald of Lafayette and Lt. Col. Billy L. of Alburquerque; two sisters, Mrs. Lee (Reba) Moomoo of Seminole, Fla. and Mrs. V. L. (Vivian) Magruder of Venice, Fla.; and seven grandchildren. - jlr
