Kinkaid - Will

Will K. Kinkaid, 75, of Rt. 8, Crawfordsville, died at 1 a.m. Wednesday at Culver Hospital. He had been a teacher for 37 years. Born Oct. 17, 1893, in Thorntown, he was the son of Samuel W. and Eva Kendall Kinkaid. He was married to Clarese Dooley on Aug. 14, 1924, at Marshall. Mr. Kinkaid was graduated from Indiana State with a master’s degree and was a teacher for 37 years in Montgomery, Vermillion. Boone and Henry counties. He was a member of the Wabash Avenue Presbyterian Church. A veteran of World War I, he was also a member of the World War I Barracks. He is survived by the wife; two sisters, Mrs. Ray Hazel Youkey of Lebanon and Mrs. Earl Helen McClain of Bakersfield, Calif.; four nieces, and two nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Larimore Wickett officiating. Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery in Marshall. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Thursday. – jlr
