Kingry - Edna Anderson

Edna Mae Kingry, 84, died Saturday afternoon in Ben Hur Nursing Home in Crawfordsville. She had been a patient there the past four and a half years. Mrs. Kingry was born near Boswell, in Benton County, on Jan. 12, 1887. She was a daughter of Frank and Anna Carlson Anderson. She married Austin C. Kingry on Jan. 18, 1911 at Boswell. He preceded her in death in Jan., 1958. Mrs. Kingry moved to Montgomery County in 1919 and lived here since. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Crawfordsville. Survivors include a son, Calvert of Crawfordsville; two daughters, Mrs. Emory (Lois) Lynch and Mrs. Robert R. (Frances) Wright, both of Crawfordsville; three brothers, Lorin Anderson of Oxford, Wilbur Anderson of Boswell and Russell Anderson of Lafayette; sister, Mrs. Minnie Abolt of Southgate, Calif.; seven grandchildren and two great-grand-children. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Lilian Titus and Thelma McCloud; two sisters, Emma Kelly and Alma Johnson, and a grandson, Richard Lynch of Crawfordsville. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Bright & Burkhart Funeral Home in Crawfordsville. Clyde Peck and Johnny Paschall will officiate. Burial will be in Boswell Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Monday. -- chris m
