Daniel N. King died at his home northwest of town this morning at fifteen minutes before five o'clock. He was born and reared in Union township where he has lived all his life. For twelve years he taught school and then moved to a farm, making farming his life's occupation. Mr. King was known as an honest industrious, Christian citizen. The funeral services will be held at Trinity church tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock. Rev. Edward W. Stecker, assisted by Rev. A.E. Monger, will officiate. A post mortem exam was made this morning by Dr. B.F. Hutchings assisted by Dr. Merle Hutchings, revealed the fact that death was caused by cancer of the liver and an ulcerous condition of the stomach.
