Kincaid - Marion

An accident six miles east of Kingman Monday, September 19, claimed the life of a rural Crawfordsville man and injured a Hillsboro woman.
Pronounced dead at the scene was Marion Kincaid, 73, RR 3, Crawfordsville.
Investigators said Kincaid was southbound on County Road 350 East. As he attempted to cross State Road 234, he was hit broadside by Idell H. Ellingwood, 63 RR 1, Hillsboro who was westbound on 234 in a truck.
On impact the Kincaid auto flipped. Kincaid was thrown from the vehicle, which then landed on top of him.
Mrs. Ellingwood was hospitalized at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville for chest injuries. –s—
