ATTICA – Dale Kimbrell, 56, of 613 S. Perry St., Attica, died at 1:45 a.m. today in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Lafayette where he had been a patient since Sunday. He was head sand technician for Harrison Steel Casting Co. at Attica where he had been employed for 38 years. Mr. KimbrelI was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Attica and was a graduate of Attica High School. Born at Elmdale on Dec. 16, 1918, he was a son of Edgar and Rilla Hayes Kimbrell. He lived at Wingate and Aylesworth before moving to Attica 35 years ago. He was married to Zanne Daugherty on Feb. 3, 1940. She survives. Also surviving are his mother of Rt. 1, Attica; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Karen) Birchfield of Woodridge, Va., and Mrs. William (Leslie) Paul of Indianapolis; two brothers, Howard of Rt. 3, Veedersburg, and Byron of Santa Rosa, Calif.; and two grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Dale Maus Funeral Home with the Rev. Vernon Lallement officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery at Attica. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Wednesday. The family request contributions be made to the Cancer Society. - jlr
