Mrs. Jennie KEYS, 75 a native of Montgomery County died at the home of her son, Perry Keys in New Market Tuesday morning at 12:50 o'clock. Death was caused by paralysis. She had been ill since Nov 28, 1937. Mrs. Keys was born on May 1, 1862 in this county the daughter of Francis and Henrietta Swearingen. On May 11, 1882 she was married at Yountsville to Charles Keys. Her husband died on March 6, 1930. The deceased was a member of the Christian Church. She is survived by two sons, Perry Keys at whose home she died and Paul Keys of Klamath Fall, OR; three grandchildren four brothers, Hugh and John Swearingen of New Market; Will Swearingen of Crawfordsville and Harry Swearingen of Columbus, O and 3 sisters, Mrs.. Alice Galloway and Miss Mary Swearingen of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Florence Yount of New Market; 4 sisters and 3 brothers preceded her in death. The funeral will be held from the home of the son Perry Thursday afternoon at 2. Reverend Russell Rice will officiate and burial will be made at the Masonic Cemetery, Crawfordsville.
