Charles M. Keyes Dies at Hospital Charles Morton Keyes, 1002 west Market street, died at Culver hospital Wednesday morning at 1:30 o'clock following an extended illness. He had been a patient at the hospital for a month with a complication of diseases. Born near Mace, he was the son of Joseph and Emily Keyes. he was married to Miss Mary Morrow on December 7, 1898, in this city. Mr. Keyes was a member of the Christian church at Danville, Illinois and of the Masonic order. He was a thirty-second degree Mason. He was the last of a family of five children. Those who preceded him in death were a sister, Mrs. Minnie Everson, and three half-brothers, John, Will, and James Armstrong. The only immediate survivor is the wife, Mrs. Mary Morrow Keyes. The funeral services will be held at the Masonic Temple Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Masonic funeral ritual will be given. Burial will be in the Masonic cemetery, with members of the lodge acting as pall bearers . Friends may view the remains at the Hunt & Reeves Funeral home until noon Friday, when the body will be taken to the Masonic Temple. - kbz
