Veedersburg - Mrs. Minnie Lee Kester, 83 was found dead in her home at 8 a.m. Sunday by a neighbor, Mrs. Helen Thomas. She had been in failing health the last 3 years. Born Feb 28, 1881 at Palmer, Ark, she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Anderson. She married Jacob Kester in 1907. He died in 1950. Surviving are a stepdaughter, Mrs. Margaret Benninger of Danville, Ill and 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Mrs. Kester was a member of the Baptist Church. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Fishero Funeral Home, Rev. James Dyson will officiate. Interment will be in Rockfield Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Monday. - kz
