Sherman O. Kessler, 93, of New Ross died Thursday at his residence. He was born December 21, 1914 in New Ross to Warner C & Dessie Kessler. He married Flora Jane Jarrell Kessler on November 21, 1948. She preceded him in death. Kessler graduated from PU . He was a director for 1st National Bank & Trust of C'ville and trustee for Indiana Voc & Tech College. He is survived by his son, Mark (Brenda) Kessler of Iowa. He was preceded in death by one brother, Warner C. Kessler. Friends will be received at the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday with services at 2 p.m with Rev Ann Smith-Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the New Ross Cemetery, New Ross. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the PU Ag Alumni Foundation in memory of Sherman Kessler.
