Ladoga - Mrs. Lola Winifred Kessler, a former Montgomery County resident who has lived in Michigan City 22 years and has been ill for 15 years, died at Michigan City Friday night. She was 59. She was born Aug. 19, 1903, at Russellville; was president of the 1922 graduating class at Waveland High School and was married Aug. 19, 1925, at Ladoga to Neil Kessler. Her parents were Morton and Mary Jockey Dykes. Mrs. Kessler was a past chief of Pythian Sisters and was a member of the First Christian Church at Michigan City, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday. Services will also be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Ladoga Christian Church. The officiating minister at both services will be Rev. Robert Green, pastor of the Michigan City church. Burial will be in the Ladoga Cemetery. Survivors include the husband, who lives at Michigan City; a daughter, Mrs. Delores Murray of Michigan City; a sister, Mrs. Lillian Cord of Crawfordsville, and five grandchildren. Friends may call at the R. D. Parpart Funeral Home at 718 E. 10th St., Michigan City from 7 p.m. Saturday until noon Monday.
