Ladoga - Mrs. Barbara Marie Kessler, 71, died suddenly at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at her home here. She was a native of Lebanon, born Jan 9, 1882 to Nathaniel B. and Mary Belle Titus. She married Homer G. Kessler, Sr. April 20, 1935. Mrs. Kessler was a member of the Ladoga Presbyterian Church and charter member of James Hill Chapter of Lebanon DAR. Surviving are the husband, a sister, Mrs. Georgia Arnsman of Lebanon; a niece, Betty Arnsman of West Lafayette; six stepchildren, Mrs. Geneva Stinett and Mrs. Ray Ward of Indianapolis, Mrs. Bert Servies of Crawfordsville; Mrs. Robert Martin of Detroit; Mrs. Harold Gilbert of Mesa, Ariz and Homer Kessler, Jr. of Ladoga, 10 step grandchildren and 17 step great grandchildren. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Friday at the Presbyterian Church here with Rev. Paul Bingam officiating. The body will be taken fro the Gephart Funeral Home to the church to lie in state for an hour preceding the services. - kbz
