Linden, Oct. 13 - Mrs. Samuel Thompson of Cherry Grove received a delayed telegram this morning telling of the death of her brother, Frank Kerr. His death occurred at his home on a ranch near Ladoga, Colo., at half past one yesterday and was the result of an accident which befell him two weeks ago. He was a ranchman and was on his way to round up his cattle and horses for the night when the broncho he was riding fell down in such a way that the rider was pinned underneath. His wife and two daughters were near enough to witness the accident as Mr. Kerr had gone only a hundred yards from his home when the mishap took place. He was injured internally and after lingering for a fortnight he died. He used to live near Cherry Grove, but has been in the west for about seventeen years. He has married since going west. He is survived by the widow and two daughters. The funeral will take place near Ladoga. His sister will not be able to attend the funeral owing to the fact that the telegram was delayed. - kbz
