James Harry KLEISER, 82 years old, for more than 40 years a practicing att orney in Terre Haute, died at 9 o'clock on Tuesday monring at his home, 10 18 Sixth Street. Mr. Kleiser who was graduated from the Waveland Collegia te Institute in 1872, had been a resident of TH since 1876 when he ca me to this city to gain admittance to the bar and begin the practice of la w. For many years he was a member of the local bar association. Until 18 98 he shared a partnerhsip with a brother, George W. Kleiser and for sever al years following the brothers' death, Mr. Kleiser continued the practi ce of his profession. He retired from active life in 1920. He is surviv ed by his widow, Susan Adams Kleiser; a daughter, Miss Louise Kleiser a nd two brothers, CA Kleiser and Dr. AJ Kleiser of Waveland. He was a memb er of the Central Presbyterian Church.
