New Richmond -- James Kincaid, 78, died at his home here this evening (Jan 14)   at 6:30 o'clock after a long illness. He was one of the old   residents of the town and was known to a large number of people   throughout the county. For the past 20 years he has led a retired   life but was active in the early history of the town. The funeral   will be held Sunday morning at 11:o'clock at New Richmond. He is   survived by two daughters, Mrs. Luch Flaugher of this place with   whom he made his home, and Mrs. Walter Dorsey of Terre Haute and   two sons, Tom Kincaid, Lima O and William of Frankfort.  -- typed by kbz

Thomas Kincaid and wife of Lima, Ohio came Saturday to be at the bedside of his father, James Kincaid. They returned home Monday.  Will Flaugher who had been in Lima for the past two months, accompanied his uncle home and will remain here for the present.  (same source and column) – Will Kincaid of Charleston, Ill came Friday in answer to a message that his father, James Kincaid was very ill; Mrs. Kincaid came Sunday.  Will returned to Charleston Monday.
