Keyes - Perry

New Market- Perry V. Keyes, 81-year-old retired farmer, died at his home Wednesday morning, shortly after midnight. He was born in Montgomery County Feb 14, 1884, the son of CHarles and Jenny Swearingen Keyes. He was married April 1, 1915 to Dessie Myers at Plymouth. Keyes was a member of the Deaf Fraternity and was a graduate of the Indiana Deaf School. He lived in New Market all his life and played organized baseball as a young man. His wife, Mrs. Dessie Keyes and a daughter, Mrs. John Rowe of Bel Air, Md survive him. He was preceded in death by one son. Friday services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Noble Reeves Funeral Home in New Market. Rev. John Rowe will be in charge. Burial will be i tneh Masonic Cemetery in Crawfordsville. Friends may call at the funeral home any time after Thursday noon - kbz
