Mrs. Mattie Keplar died this morning at 7 o'clock of the dread disease, consumption after an illness of one year. She was aobut 31 years of age and leaves her husband, Samuel Keplar and a 10-year-old daughter behind. She was also a daughter of Elder M.M. VanCleave. The funeral will occur Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Primitive Baptist Church the services being conducted by Elder J.A. Oliphant and Rev. G. P. Fuson. Interment at the Odd Fellows' Cemetery.
