Waynetown -Clayton Milton Kenyon, 72, died at 3 p.m. Friday at his residence in Waynetown. He had been in failing health for about a year. Death was attributed to a heart ailment. Born June 9, 1885, near Darlington, he was the son of Paris and Caroline Champion Kenyon. On Dec 2, 1902 he married Sophia Smith Beam at Danville, Ill. He was a lineman for a number of years and worked for a time with Indiana Bell Company. Later he served as electrician for the town of Waynetown. Surviving are the wife, one son, Richard (Dick) of 119 N Barr St., in Crawfordsville; two grandsons, Michael and David and one sister, Reva Quisenberry of N. Green in Crawfordsville. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Servies Funeral Home in Waynetown with Rev. Guy E. Tremaine officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Saturday.
