Kent - Nettie Comfort Harter

A special from Shelbyville says:
“Mrs. Nettie Comfort Harter Kent died from an attack of paralysis last night. She was the daughter of David Harter, of Crawfordsville, where she was born July 28, 1851. she was married to Rev. Joseph H. Kent in Crawfordsville Sept. 8, 1870, and was left a widow by his death July 4, 1876. Nov. 24, 1877, she married George Kent, the brother of her first husband. She leaves three children. She graduated from the Chautanqua Circle of 1892. Funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon. -s
