Waynetown – Van Kennedy, 96, a retired farmer, died at 11:20 am Tuesday in Ben Hur Nursing Home at Crawfordsville. He had been a resident there the past two years. Mr. Kennedy was a native of Coal Creek Township and retired from farming in 1953. He was a member of Waynetown Christian Church, Moose Lodge 6 at Crawfordsville, and Crawfordsville Senior Citizens Club. Surviving is a brother, Gould Kennedy of Wingate. - transcribed by kbz
