Waynetown – Mrs. PW Kennedy, 69, former resident of Montgomery County and sister of George Layne, died Wednesday at her home in Indianapolis after an illness of but three days. Mrs. Kennedy was the widow of PW Kennedy who died nine years ago. Surviving are a son, four brothers and four sisters, including besides the local man, William and John B. Layne and Mrs. Perry Abbott, Crawfordsville. The funeral will be held at 9 o’clock Saturday morning at St. Joan of Arc Church, Indianapolis.
