Lee Albert Kennedy, 70, a resident of Crawfordsville all his life, died at 3:45 p.m. Thursday in Culver Hospital after being a patient for one day. He was born Spet 12, 1890, in Montgomery County. His parents were George Amos and Stella Lee Kennedy. On April 10, 1948, he married Jennie McClure. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Moose Lodge & VFW Father's Auxiliary. He is survived by his widow; three daughtesr, Mrs. Louise Beach of Marion; Mrs. Gladys Walter of Florence, Ky and Mrs. Shirley Foster of Lebanon; three sons, Loren of Elmandorf AFB Alaska; George R. of Anderson and Keith L. with the US Army in Portland, Maine; a stepdaughter, Mary McClure of Pine Village; a brother, Maurice of Noblesville; 20 grandchildren and 7 greats. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday in McCloud Mortuary with Rev. Carlton G. Christenson of First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Saturday. - transcribed by kbz
