Miss Laura Jarvis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Jarvis of Guion caused her relatives great anxiety this week. Some months ago she had a severe attack of grip and since that time has not been entirely sane. On Saturday she went to Crawfordsville and from there to Roachdale. She was finally located at the home of Percy Sutherlin south of Russellville. On Wednesday morning, Drs Ball, Warren and Connelly and Justice Bryant held an inquest of lunacy and found her of unsound mind. Shortly afterwards she evaded her brothers who were guarding her, and jumped into a well 32' deep but was rescued without any serious injury. she will be confined in the Rockville jail until she can be admitted to the Central Hospital. The case is a very sad one, Miss Laura was a very bright girl until her illness. Since that she has turned against her family and has threatened them with personal violence and with burning their home. There is no foundation whatever to the report that she was mistreated at home.
