Mrs. Emily Kennedy, widow of P. S. Kennedy, died at Yakima, Washington, May 7th at 6 o'clock p. m. Mrs. Kennedy, since the death of her husband in 1903, has been making her home with her daughters Miss Ora L. Kennedy and Mrs. Katie L. Foresman in Washington. Funeral services will be held here next Tuesday, May 13th, with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery, the hour will be announced later. The death of Mrs. Kennedy leaves one out of a family of thirteen children, the remaining being Capt. H. H. Talbot, of this city. She leaves two sons, Dumont Kennedy of this city and Joseph C. Kennedy of Lewiston, Idaho and two daughter[s] named above. Mrs. Kennedy would have been 96 years of age next November 4th, having had the best of health her whole life until the last few weeks. - transcribed by kbz
