Albert Elijah KENNEDY, 67 who died in Crawfordsville Tuesday was buried in the Masonic Cemetery after funeral services at the Crawfordsville Christian Church. He was married to Miss Laura JARVIS who survives him, Jan 18, 1936.

Albert E. KENNEDY, son of Elijah and Emily MISNER Kennedy, was born Nov 23, 1869 at Smartsburg, Indiana. His entire life was spent in and near that vicinity and in and near the vicinity of Crawfordsville. For the past 20 some years he had been a permanent resident of Crawfordsville. His education was completed at the Ladoga Normal with a teacher's degree, which he never used. Later he entered the business with his brother, George Kennedy, first in taxi & livery business, later, in 1922, they became partners of the Kennedy Brothers Coal Business. T o complete and shorten the life history of Mr. Kennedy, he was an honest, upright man as a friend and helper of others, this number is unknown. Mr. Kennedy was married on Jan 18, 1936, to Laura E. Jarvis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Jarvis of Waveland. Death shortened this happy life of Mr. and Mrs. Kennedy to less than two years. Surviving are the wife; two brothers, George A. Kennedy and Benjamin S. Kennedy; one sister, Lavina Henry; one niece, Mrs. Jess Ward, two nephews, Maurice Kennedy and Lee Kennedy.

Albert Elijah Kennedy, 67, well known local coal dealer, died at his home, 405 Covington Street, Tuesday morning at 6 o'clock following an illness of 5 days. Death was due to pneumonia. Born Nov 23, 1869, he was the son of Elijah and Emily Kennedy. His marriage to Laura D. Jarvice took place Jan 18, 1926 at Danville, Ill. Mr. Kennedy had lived in this city the past 21 years and for the past 15 years had been a partner in the Kennedy Brothers Coal Co. He was educated in Crawfordsville schools, later attending the old Ladoga Normal. Survivors include the wife, Laura D. Kennedy, and two brothers, George A. and Benjamin S.,  a sister, Mrs. Ethel Ward and two nephews, Lee Kennedy and Maurice Kennedy. The funeral services will be held at First Christian Church Thursday afternoon 2 o'clock; burial in Masonic Cemetery.
